Guns, Hot Pots, Vampire Teeth, and a Ferrari

Jonny had the be-be (spelling?) gun out for the kids to practice shooting.  This was basically nerve-racking for me, but he knows his stuff, I guess.  Kesley, Cambree, Briggs and Nelly all had a turn or two or three...but I didn't get a pic of Briggs shooting.  Oh well.
One random Monday night, we decided to go see the Hot Pots, near Utah Lake with our friends, the Sargents.  We called Doug and Jodi Graham while on our way, and they met us there.  We had such a ball, laughing, and chatting while the kids played at the park.  Then, we topped off the night with a yummy burger at JCW's!  Yum.

Here's Briggs at the Outdoor Expo.  He loves ATV's and motorcycles!

Here's the saddest picture in the world.  That gross hanging thing is the inside of her lip, ripped and dangling.  This is right after the bleeding finally stopped...and we realized that there were no major cuts on the outside, so we stopped before going into the Instacare.  I tell a little more about her falling down in the next post with 2 movies of her.
Smiling after 1 hour...home again watching TV.
This is just WRONG!  I was shocked that she was happy after such a crazy and traumatic experience.  But then, she found the fake vampire teeth, and was laughing hysterically!  Her mouth is so beat up and gross, that this just put me over the edge with queasiness.
Nice profile image...
The next day!  She was doing so much better.
Grandpa and Grandma Johnson came to see us and bring Briggs his birthday surprise!  Yay!
This pic is the cutest thing ever.  Briggs got a Ferrari!!!  But who's more excited...Briggs or Nelly??

I'll post some of Briggs' friend party photos soon, too.  xoxo

Chanel's Ouchy!

Chanel fell outside on some rocks, right on her lip. Briggs was so sad, he was crying too! Dillon, Briggs' buddy, came running to tell us. After the bleeding finally stopped, we could tell that the wounds were inside her lip...no need for stitches. But, whoa...her lip was swollen. Her chin cut up. Yikes.

Videos of the Family

Briggs and Hyrum got the giggles while eating their cupcakes.

Jonny thought it would be really funny to film my as I'm relaxing at Lisa's house. I didn't quite appreciate his sense of humor.

Concert, Los Hermanos, FHE, Kids & Grandma's house

I uploaded all of these pics, and now can't figure out how to put text in between them!  So...here's the story...

Briggs' pic at the top is of him ready for church, lookin' fly.

Paul Cardall's "Celebrate Life" Concert at Abravanel Hall was fabulous.  We bumped into Matt and Jacquie Bunker, who we LOVE a ton.  It was an incredible concert...emotional, moving, and just awesome.

We met Grandpa at Los Hermanos for lunch.  The kids loved the indoor fountain, and the brisa specialty drink, just like their mama.

Gary and Elizabeth brought their adorable family to our home for FHE on a Monday night.  Their kids are Hyrum, Leah, Mary Kate, and Eliza.  We love them so much.  I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have such incredible cousins.  We decorated cupcakes to look like spiders, after learning how to be honest and avoid spinning webs of lies to cover dishonesty.  The kids were so fun!

This past weekend, mom called and invited us to stay up at her house to relax and play.  Of course I said YES!  It's been a long week, especially after finding out that my due date was changed to April 16th, not the 8th as I was previously told.  The docs forgot to let me know... Ahhhhh!!!!!  I was just a little bugged, to say the least.  So, a relaxing weekend at my mom's was just what I needed.  It was wonderful.  The kids never want to leave, and you can see why!
